Karachi (mnm.com.pk) The Sindh Education Department has issued an order to change school hours during Ramadan.
The steering committee of the education department met today, Saturday, April 3, under the chairmanship of provincial education minister Saeed Ghani.
Today's meeting discussed the growing issue of coronavirus and other important issues including working hours of educational institutions.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Schools, Secretary Colleges and Chairmen of Boards. Participants considered educational activities in the Corona situation, while briefing on the decisions of the Corona Task Force and the NCOC in the province.
In the meeting, the committee has decided to change the school hours during Ramadan.
According to the decision, the morning shift will be from 7:30 to 11:30.
The second shift will be from 11:45 to 02:45.
Friday morning school hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and the afternoon shift will be from 10:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
