Madina (mnm.com.pk) Saudi officials have barred children under the age of 15 from entering the Masjid al-Nabawi and its compound during the holy month of Ramadan.
Saudi officials have also decided to halve the duration of Taraweeh at Masjid al-Nabawi, while there will be no Itikaf at Masjid al-Nabawi this year due to the deadly spread of the coronavirus.
Saudi officials said that during Ramadan, the administration would provide only dates and water for Iftar to each person.
On the other hand, 590 more cases of corona have been reported to the Saudi Ministry of Health, while there are currently more than 5,000 active cases in Saudi Arabia.
