The killing of minorities in the country has always been condemned and no powerful cleric or mufti has ever asked anyone to be killed. Allama Tahir Ashrafi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Inter-Faith Harmony in Islamabad, said in a press conference that the situation of inter-faith harmony in the country is before the people. Inter-faith committees are being formed at central, district and divisional levels and convenors have been appointed who have started their work.
