Islamabad ( Allama Tahir Ashrafi has said that the Constitution of Pakistan has defined the rights of all minorities. The killing of minorities in the country has always been condemned and no powerful cleric or mufti has ever asked anyone to be killed. The great Ummah has a responsibility and not everyone can give a fatwa because there is some special knowledge for a fatwa.

Allama Tahir Ashrafi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Inter-Faith Harmony in Islamabad, said in a press conference that the situation of inter-faith harmony in the country is before the people. Inter-faith committees are being formed at central, district and divisional levels and convenors have been appointed who have started their work. Linking madrassas to the Ministry of Education is an achievement of the present government.

Regarding corona, he said that some anchors are also issuing fatwas regarding corona vaccine. Vaccines should be given to save lives. Humanity can buy the Karuna vaccine and give it to deserving people because the one who saved one person saved the whole of humanity. "The third wave of corona is very dangerous," he said, urging people to use masks and handkerchiefs.

He denied that there were any reports of mosques being closed by the government.

On politics, he said Sharia terms should not be used for politics. Maulana Fazlur Rehman has always been deceived. ۔

He also said that if Maulana Fazlur Rehman's jihad is to bring Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif to power and remove Prime Minister Imran Khan from power, then it is neither jihad nor permissible in Islam.
